“Hope rises after letting go.” - Alexandra Vasiliu
This is made with upcycled sterling silver and Chrysocolla. (I am not exactly sure of the kind of stone but it looks like a Chrysocolla to me.) The birds were first created in wax and then cast in sterling silver. All of the components were soldered together with a torch. This piece was filed, sanded, antiqued, and polished.

I call this sculpture/rattle an “Emotional Block”. Each side of the piece has a different face with a different emotion. You can have fun identifying what you feel or want to feel by exploring the block. It has clay beads inside so makes a great sound. The hand was first created in wax and then cast in sterling silver. I drilled a hole in the hand and soldered the sterling chain to the piece. Each freshwater pearl was secured to the chain with sterling wire. This piece was filed, sanded, antiqued, and polished.
